An output device is any peripheral that receives data from a computer, usually for display, projection, or physical reproduction.
The main output device is Monitor






OUTPUT DEVICES - VDU, MONITOR ( CRT / LCD / LED / Console / TV / TFT ) these are display devices.
Monitor is a device which convert graphic signal into viewable picturesth that is displayed on flat screen.
Monitor converts Text into Graphics


Difference between CRT and LED / LCD

CRT 

  • Old Technology
  • Eye Strain due to flickerring
  • More heat
  • More Space
  • More Power Consumption  (approx. 100 watt)        
LED / LCD

  • New Technology
  • Less Eye Strain
  • Less Heat
  • Less Power Consumption (approx. 40 watt)

    Keyboard

    KEYBOARD (KEY+BOARD)
    Keyboard means a board with lots of keys.
    Keyboards come in standard QWERTY patterns.

      STANDARD KEYBOARD




      This is the most common normal keyboard. It has 105 - 108 keys.
      It gets from Rs.150 to 200.
      There is no multimedia key in it.
      We connect the standard keyboard with the help of Ps / 2 and USB Connector.


      MULTIMEDIA KEYBOARD






      The device which supports more than one medium is called Multimedia.
      Multimedia Keyboard contains more keys which are called Multimedia keys.

      It works by battery. 


      MECHANICAL KEYBOARD


      The Mechanical Keyboard is similar to the standard Keyboard.
      The only difference is that the keys of the Mechanical Keyboard are raised above.
